David Mairs is responsible for adult ministries within Glenabbey. We believe that home groups and small groups are core and in many ways adult ministries is about ensuring cohesive development of individuals within these and other groups throughout Glenabbey.

community care: The Community Care provision within Glenabbey offers the opportunity to build bridges into our community through the provision of hope, help and support in the times of pain, crisis, change and struggles we face each day. It also provides additional pastoral support for those who attend Glenabbey but have been unable to engage in Home Groups/Icons and their associated cells. Community Care is sub-divided into four key areas: First Contact, Counselling, Pastoral Visitation and Life Matters. [More...]

home groups: The purpose of Home Groups is to help facilitate life transformation through discipleship and evangelism. It is in the context of Home Groups that we can see more people being changed into devoted and mature followers of Jesus Christ as they develop authentic relationships, allow God's Word to shape their lives and engage in joy for reaching out to people who do not know Jesus Christ.
